About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate individual to support a warm and welcoming lady in maintaining her independence and love of life. As a Support Worker, you will provide social, domestic support, and companionship, while promoting her autonomy and dignity.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist with cooking, meal preparation, and eating meals/drinks
  • Support with medication management
  • Help with household chores and general homemaking
  • Accompany the individual to appointments and hospital visits
  • Support with food shopping and gardening
  • Encourage socialization and participation in activities
  • Develop a trusting and supportive working relationship
Requirements
  • Be honest, reliable, and trustworthy
  • Maintain confidentiality and respect privacy
  • Work independently and as part of a team
  • Have good listening skills and provide non-judgmental emotional support
  • Be patient, supportive, and caring
  • Have a genuine interest in supporting people with disabilities/illnesses
Working Arrangements

The ideal candidate will be flexible and able to adapt to the individual's needs on a daily basis. A car driver is preferred but not essential.
