Pearson FP&A Analyst Role

Join Pearson's Financial Planning and Analysis (FP&A) team in Belfast, UK, as a key contributor to the company's financial success.

About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled Financial Analyst to support our FP&A team in delivering outstanding financial support and service to the business. As a Financial Analyst, you will be responsible for:

  • Month-end activities, including journal entries and financial reporting
  • Forecasting and budgeting, ensuring accurate and timely financial planning
  • Financial analysis and variance reporting, providing insights to drive business decisions
  • Ad-hoc queries and cost accounting analysis, supporting business stakeholders

Key Responsibilities:

As a Financial Analyst, you will have the opportunity to leverage your skills in:

  • Financial management, management accounting, and overhead cost accounting
  • Budgeting, planning, forecasting, and management reporting
  • Building relationships with key stakeholders, including business partners and finance teams

Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you must have:

  • Part-qualified accountant in ACCA or CIMA
  • Relevant experience in a similar role, with a strong understanding of financial planning and analysis
