About the Role:

Parker Smith Inclusion is partnering with a secondary school in Redbridge to find a dedicated Learning Support Assistant. The school prides itself on providing the necessary support and resources for every student to succeed.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide individualized support to students with special educational needs across all levels.
  • Assist in implementing individual education plans and behaviour management strategies.
  • Collaborate with teachers to adapt and differentiate classroom activities to meet the diverse needs of students.
  • Foster a supportive and inclusive learning environment where all students feel valued and respected.
  • Monitor student progress and provide feedback to teachers and parents as needed.

Requirements:

  • Previous experience working with students with special needs and challenging behaviour is highly desirable.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Patience, empathy, and a genuine passion for supporting young people.
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team and independently.
  • Relevant qualifications or willingness to undergo training.
