**Job Description:**

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Teaching Assistant to support students with Special Educational Needs (SEN) in a secondary school setting. As a SEND Teaching Assistant, you will work closely with teachers and other support staff to provide individualized support to students with diverse learning needs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide one-to-one support to students with SEN
  • Support small groups of students with diverse learning needs
  • Assist teachers with lesson planning and delivery
  • Monitor students' progress and provide feedback to teachers
  • Develop and maintain positive relationships with students, teachers, and other support staff
  • Participate in staff meetings and contribute to the development of the school's SEN policy

Requirements:

  • At least 12 months experience working with children in a school environment
  • Ability to build and maintain professional relationships with students and staff
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Flexibility to work a variety of shifts, including mornings, afternoons, and occasional evenings
