Compliance Specialist

About this role:
We are looking for an experienced Compliance Specialist to join our team in Cambridge. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in import/export coordination and be able to work independently to ensure compliance with all customs regulations and company policies.
Key responsibilities:
- Coordinate imports and exports, ensuring compliance with all customs regulations and company policies.
- Review and prepare shipping documents to ensure accuracy and compliance with international trade regulations.
- Liaise with freight forwarders, customs brokers, and other third-party service providers to ensure smooth and timely shipments.
- Manage customs clearance processes, ensuring accurate tariff classifications and duty calculations.
- Monitor shipments to ensure timely delivery and resolve any issues related to delays, documentation errors, or customs holds.
Requirements:
- At least 12 months of experience in import/export coordination or a similar logistics role.
- Degree in logistics, customs, or international trade.
- Knowledge of customs regulations and international trade laws.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Estimated Salary: £14.29 per hour
