Clinical Team Lead

Job Summary:
The successful candidate will have a proven track record of leadership in a clinical setting, with a strong background in perioperative care. They will be responsible for leading a team of healthcare professionals, providing clinical management and advice to ensure the highest standard of patient care.
Main Responsibilities:
- To provide clinical leadership and management to a team of healthcare professionals.
- To develop and implement programmes of care that promote best evidence-based practice.
- To monitor the development, implementation, and evaluation of care programmes.
- To take a lead in operational management in the Theatre setting.
- To maintain a visible presence in the department, undertaking clinical work regularly.
- To coordinate and assist in the management and organisation of care provision within the Operating Department.
Key Requirements:
- Registration with the Health Professions Council or a NMC registered Nurse.
- Eligibility to work in the UK.
- Extensive knowledge of nursing care in a perioperative environment.
- Evidence of leading a team within a clinical environment.
- Proven experience of managing change within a clinical setting.
- A recognised qualification and experience of supporting learners (advantageous).
- Demonstrates a good working knowledge and compliance with CQC Standards.
