**Job Title:** Anti-Theft Engineer - Vehicle Crime Specialist
**Job Summary:**
We are seeking an experienced Anti-Theft Engineer to join our team in Essex. As a key member of our expanding team, you will play a critical role in ensuring the physical security performance of our vehicles meets the needs of our customers and thwarts potential thieves.
**Key Responsibilities:**
* Host and organize Security PAT meetings with program and platform teams to ensure effective collaboration and communication.
* Manage project deliverables from internal service providers and external verifiers to ensure timely and accurate completion.
* Lead change control and configuration management processes to ensure seamless implementation of security measures.
* Manage issues and risks, both technical content and timing, and develop contingency plans to mitigate potential threats.
* Ensure a robust estimated status for each program and milestone/gateway is documented and recorded with engineering contacts.
* Foster a customer-centric mindset and build strong relationships with customers to understand their needs and preferences.
* Possess extensive mechanical and electrical/electronic fitting skills gained in a workshop environment.
* Have knowledge and understanding of vehicle crime, ideally gained through a dealership or workshop type environment.
* Have extensive experience working in tackling vehicle crime, stolen vehicle examination, working with insurance agents, and vehicle/component ID.
* Possess CAD proficiency.
**Requirements:**
* Engineering Degree or equivalent life experience.
* Travel: Yes, potentially to Germany, Romania, Turkey, or the USA.
* Hybrid - at least 3 days per week on site in Dunton, Essex.
