We are seeking a highly skilled Manufacturing Process Expert to join our team at Metaphor Services.

About the Role

This is a contract position, and the ideal candidate will have extensive experience in SAP PP/QM modules, integration with SAP EWM, 3rd Party MES, LIMS, and a deep understanding of SAP best practices.

The Manufacturing Process Expert will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining SAP Production Planning (PP) and Quality Management (QM) solutions in a GMP biotech industry.

Key Responsibilities
  • Solution Design and Implementation:
    • Lead the design, development, and implementation of SAP PP/QM solutions in relation to Process Manufacturing.
    • Hands-on configuration of SAP PP/QM modules to meet business needs.
  • Project Management:
    • Manage SAP PP/QM implementation projects, including planning, scheduling, and resource allocation.
    • Collaborate with project stakeholders, business process owners, IT teams, and external vendors.
    • Monitor project progress and ensure timely delivery of solutions within budget.
    • Stay updated with the latest SAP technologies and best practices.
    • Lead initiatives to optimize manufacturing and quality management processes.
  • Testing, Training, and Development:
    • Lead end-to-end scripted UAT between SAP, MES, LIMS, and Equipment Software.
    • Train and mentor end-users and junior team members on SAP PP/QM modules.
    • Develop training materials and conduct workshops to enhance user proficiency.
    • Manage and assist business process owners with SOP writing.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 10 years of experience in SAP PP/QM implementation and support.
  • Strong knowledge of SAP PP/QM modules and related business processes.
  • Multiple cycle experience in SAP implementations and integrations.
  • Experience with SAP S/4HANA is a must.
  • Strong project management and organizational skills.
Preferred Qualifications
  • SAP PP/QM certification.
  • SAP S4 HANA experience in at least one full end-to-end implementation.
  • Knowledge of integration with other SAP modules, MES, and LIMS systems.
  • Experience with SAP Fiori and SAP Cloud Platform.
Estimated Salary: $120,000 - $150,000 per year
