Job Role: Senior Fit Out Estimator

Area: Office based

Salary: £25k - £30k

PW Construction Recruitment is seeking a Senior Fit Out Estimator to join their growing team. The ideal candidate will have at least 2 years experience within the fit-out industry and be responsible for fit out tenders. The role will progress into an Estimator role OTE.

Responsibilities:

  • Preparing detailed cost estimates for fit out projects ranging from £10k - £300k.
  • Analyse project plans, specifications, and other documentation to prepare comprehensive bid estimates.
  • Retrieve material & labour costs inputting information into project budgets
  • Maintain records of all estimates/projects, and other relevant documents.
  • Prepare and present detailed cost breakdowns and summaries for review by management.
  • Support communication with suppliers and subcontractors to obtain competitive pricing and verify scope inclusions.

The candidate:

  • Previous 2 years experience within the fit-out industry
  • Excel/computer skills
  • Ability to read drawings and undertake scaled take offs
  • Ability to attend site visits to undertake surveys prior to providing quotes
  • Eager to learn with a driven attitude
  • Ability to work solely or part of a team
  • Ability to liaise with client project management/site team

This role is being handled by PW Construction Recruitment.
