Job Role: Junior Fit Out Estimator

Area: Office based

Salary: £25k - £30k

PW Construction Recruitment is seeking a Junior Fit Out Estimator to join their team. The ideal candidate will have at least 2 years experience within the fit-out industry and be responsible for fit out tenders. The role will progress into an Estimator role with opportunities for growth.

Responsibilities:

  • Preparing detailed cost estimates for fit out projects ranging from £10k - £300k.
  • Analyzing project plans, specifications, and other documentation to prepare comprehensive bid estimates.
  • Retrieving material & labour costs and inputting information into project budgets.
  • Maintaining records of all estimates/projects, and other relevant documents.
  • Preparing and presenting detailed cost breakdowns and summaries for review by management.
  • Supporting communication with suppliers and subcontractors to obtain competitive pricing and verify scope inclusions.

The Ideal Candidate:

  • Previous 2 years experience within the fit-out industry.
  • Excellent computer skills.
  • Ability to read drawings and undertake scaled take offs.
  • Ability to attend site visits to undertake surveys prior to providing quotes.
  • Eager to learn with a driven attitude.
  • Ability to work solely or part of a team.
  • Ability to liaise with client project management/site team.
