Premier Group Recruitment Ltd is seeking a highly skilled Embedded Software Engineer to join their R&D team in Cambridge. This exciting opportunity involves working on research, prototyping, and design for various clients across the UK and Europe.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Liaise with clients and stakeholders to gather project requirements and present projects effectively.
  • Work on the full product life cycle from concept to release, ensuring timely delivery and high-quality results.
  • Analyse and design prototypes for a wide variety of electronics products using different skills and technologies.

Requirements:

  • Degree in Electronics or Electrical Engineering or a related discipline.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving ability.
  • Strong theoretical knowledge of embedded software design areas, including C/C++, RTOS/Linux/Bare metal programming, debugging, serial interfaces, and peripheral drivers.
  • Familiarity with algorithm design and development, as well as other programming languages like C#, MATLAB, Python.
