Paediatric Audiologist Job Opportunity

We are seeking a skilled Audiologist to join our Paediatric Department within North East London NHS Foundation Trust. Our team provides a range of services, including hearing aid fittings, tinnitus support, and balance testing for children.

The successful candidate will be responsible for undertaking hearing assessments for children aged over 3 years old, requiring skills in Play Audiometry and objective testing. Experience in paediatric audiology is desirable, but training will be provided to an audiologist with adult audiology experience.

This is an excellent opportunity for current adult audiologists to develop their skills or for paediatric audiologists looking to expand their expertise in a new team. NELFT is committed to personal development, and any necessary training will be provided.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Undertake hearing assessments for children aged over 3 years old
  • Develop skills in Play Audiometry and objective testing
  • Provide hearing aid fittings and support
  • Contribute to a multidisciplinary team providing paediatric audiology services
Requirements:
  • BSc (Hons) in Audiology or equivalent
  • Professional registration with RCCP
  • Enthusiasm for paediatric audiology
