Building Surveyor

About the Role
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Managing Building Surveyor to join our Nottingham office. As a key member of our Building Surveying team, you will be responsible for furthering existing client relationships and driving growth and technical acumen in the office.
The successful candidate will have a strong background in building surveying, with a proven track record of delivering high-quality projects and excellent client service. You will be a team player, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and be able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Helping to develop and implement business growth strategies
- Compiling scopes of work and producing design information, including drawings
- Contributing to project planning and execution
- Attending design team and construction stage team meetings
- Working collaboratively on large-scale survey projects
- Liaising with senior colleagues to ensure technical deliverables are met
- Attending site visits and conducting accurate surveys
- Managing own workload and prioritizing tasks effectively
Requirements
- MRICS qualified Building Surveyor
- Strong client care and business development skills
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- IT literate with an understanding of Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook
- Full driving license and own car
