Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated practitioner to join our Central Neurodevelopmental Team in Conwy and Denbighshire. As a CAMHS Single Point of Access Practitioner, you will play a vital role in promoting and maintaining high standards of care for children and adolescents with neurodevelopmental conditions.

Main Duties
  • Contribute to diagnostic assessments by undertaking specific aspects of the assessment as required.
  • Provide support to families and young people through group-based workshops and interventions.
  • Work with children, their families, carers, staff teams, and other professionals in a variety of community settings.
  • Provide clinical and managerial support for junior colleagues.
About the Role

The Central Neurodevelopmental Team offers comprehensive neurodevelopmental assessment leading to the production of a personal profile, outlining strengths and needs, and diagnosis, if appropriate. We are striving to provide a range of interventions through group work, workshops, and bespoke individual interventions.

Candidates should be registered professionals with experience in working with people with neurodevelopmental conditions (ASD and/or ADHD) and preferably in working with children and families. The ability to speak Welsh is desirable for this post.
