The role is for a Hose Inspector/Installer to join our offshore team as a flying squad member. The position is based offshore and includes a staff retainer salary and offshore uplifts for each trip.

Main duties and responsibilities include:

  • Visually inspecting customers' hoses and fittings while in situ, in line with company inspection procedures
  • Identifying hose types, fittings, and condition, in line with procedures
  • Tagging hoses on site
  • Registering flexible hoses using an online hose management database
  • Completing reports (daily reports/survey close-out reports) accurately and timeously
  • Recommending possible solutions to problems identified with customer hoses, applications, or operating procedures and carrying out remedial actions where appropriate
  • Identifying and using appropriate fittings for specified hoses, as per customer specification
  • Onsite hose assembly and pressure testing

To be successful in this role, you will have proven work experience in the manufacture and/or inspection of flexible hoses. You will have knowledge and experience in the manufacture, inspection, and test of flexible hose assemblies and the ability to use Microsoft Office programs to generate reports and registers.
