Job Title: Senior Post-Doctoral Research Associate

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Post-Doctoral Research Associate to join our research team at Lancaster University. The successful candidate will have a strong background in trypanosome cell biology or quantitative proteomics and will be responsible for contributing to a BBSRC funded project on heat shock signalling in African trypanosomes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct cutting-edge research in trypanosome cell biology and quantitative proteomics
  • Develop and implement novel experimental approaches to investigate heat shock signalling in African trypanosomes
  • Collaborate with a dedicated team of researchers to achieve project goals
  • Design and execute experiments to collect and analyze data
  • Present research findings at international conferences and publish in top-tier scientific journals
