Job Summary

We are seeking a highly organized and communicative Traffic Marshal to join our team at EMCOR UK. As a key member of our site operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth flow of traffic and loading requirements at our Weighbridge.

Key Responsibilities

  • Coordinate with clients and drivers to ensure efficient loading and unloading of goods
  • Monitor and direct traffic flow to prevent congestion and ensure safety
  • Ensure all drivers have the necessary documentation and personal protective equipment (PPE)
  • Collaborate with the Security Supervisor to provide holiday and sickness cover for all shifts
  • Assist with major incidents and emergencies in accordance with emergency procedures and business continuity plans
  • Attend toolbox talks and stay up-to-date with company policies and procedures

Requirements

  • Ability to work outside in all weather conditions
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Proven organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Experience with hand-held radios and ability to work independently
