About the Role

We are seeking a proactive and commercially minded Internal Audit Assistant Manager/Manager to join our expanding team at EA First. As an Internal Audit Assistant Manager/Manager, you'll be instrumental in helping a range of organisations, particularly those within the public sector, education, charity, and not-for-profit arenas, enhance their risk management, governance, and internal control frameworks.

Key Responsibilities
  • Take charge of internal audit assignments, ensuring thorough and high-quality deliverables ready for senior-level review.
  • Conduct internal audits either on site at client locations or remotely.
  • Present audit findings and provide strategic recommendations.
  • Work closely with clients to design and implement audit plans, including defining the scope, scheduling, and setting clear deliverables.
  • Contribute to business development by participating in client meetings, networking events, and other marketing activities.
Requirements
  • Credentials: ACA, ACCA, or IIA qualification (essential).
  • Solid experience in planning and executing audits of varying complexities (essential).
  • Competency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and Outlook.
