Job Role

We are seeking an experienced Quality, Health, and Safety Assistant to join our team at MEICA Technical Services Ltd in Witney, Oxfordshire. As a Quality, Health, and Safety Assistant, you will play a crucial role in ensuring a safe working environment for our employees and sub-contractors.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Monitor and investigate all accidents/incidents and near misses to identify areas for improvement.
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements by maintaining accurate records and updating the legal register database.
  • Conduct site H&S audits/inspections with the Operations Director to evaluate our performance.
  • Develop and deliver training/toolbox talks to site crew and employees on health and safety best practices.
Requirements:
  • Proven experience in a Quality, Health, and Safety role, preferably in the construction industry.
  • Demonstrable desire to learn and improve through further training and development opportunities.
  • Auditing and inspection experience is highly desirable.
  • Strong interest in Health, Safety, and Environmental issues.
Salary and Benefits:

The salary for this position is approximately £35,000 - £45,000 per annum, depending on experience, with 28 days annual leave (increasing to 33 days after 5 years), sick pay, and a generous company-contributory pension scheme.
