  • Operate assigned production machinery according to standard operating procedures.
  • Conduct regular quality checks throughout the production process to ensure adherence to specifications and identify any defects or issues.
  • Perform routine maintenance on production equipment, including cleaning, lubrication, and minor repairs, to ensure optimal performance.
  • Assist in the movement, loading, and unloading of raw materials and finished products, ensuring proper storage and organisation.
  • Engage in training programs to enhance skills; prior machine operation.
  • Suggest and implement process improvements to enhance productivity, quality, and efficiency.
  • Maintain effective communication with the print & production department and team members.
  • Adhere to all safety protocols and guidelines to ensure a safe workplace.
  • Maintain accurate production records, including output quantities, equipment logs, and quality control reports.

Person Specification:

  • Education: Functional skills
  • Experience: Previous experience in a manufacturing environment or direct experience operating machinery preferred but not essential.
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in operating production equipment and machinery. Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and follow standard operating procedures.
  • Physical attributes: Ability to stand for extended periods.
