We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Credit Risk Analyst to join our provisioning and forecasting team. As a key player in determining credit loss budgets, you will be responsible for maintaining and executing credit impairment models and DoD engines.
About the Role
This is a core role within our risk division, and you will be working closely with various risk sectors, including forecasting, portfolio management, and collections. Your daily tasks will include facilitating change processes, executing model implementations, and developing and presenting materials for governance forums and committees.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain credit impairment models and DoD engines
- Collaborate with risk sectors to ensure accurate forecasting and portfolio management
- Present results to governance forums and committees
- Engage with external auditors to ensure smooth audits
- Assist with internal audit activities and address internal validation points
- Review and challenge next-generation credit risk provisioning models
- Maintain up-to-date process documentation
- Contribute to Management Information (MI) Analytics dashboards
Requirements
- Experience with building and running models in SAS or similar software
- Strong understanding of risk management regulations and guidelines
- Advanced Excel skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong numerical degree from a Russell Group University
