About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Credit Risk Manager to join our team in the UK. As a key member of our Corporate Credit Risk team, you will be responsible for managing the credit risk of a portfolio of large UK and Nordic corporates.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assess and manage the credit risk of new and existing corporate clients, including the analysis of financial statements, ratings, and credit profiles.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with internal and external stakeholders, including corporate clients, sales teams, and other credit risk professionals.
  • Participate in credit and business committees to discuss and approve credit proposals.
  • Monitor and report on credit risk metrics and trends, and provide recommendations for improvement.
  • Stay up-to-date with market and regulatory developments, and ensure compliance with relevant laws and regulations.
Requirements
  • Minimum of 5-6 years of credit risk underwriting experience within a corporate or commercial banking environment.
  • Strong knowledge of credit risk management principles and practices.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex financial data.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Fluent in English (C1) and Spanish (desirable).
