About the Role

As a Children and Young Persons Social Care Specialist with CrossReach Trading Ltd., you will play a vital role in supporting children and families across Scotland. This is an excellent opportunity to make a positive impact on the lives of those in need while developing your skills and expertise in social care.

You will be responsible for providing high-quality care and support to children and young people, working closely with their families and other professionals to ensure the best possible outcomes. A key aspect of this role is promoting inclusion, relational health, and advocacy, which involves building strong relationships with children, families, and support agencies.

To succeed in this position, you will require strong communication, planning, and reporting abilities, as well as experience in care or education. You must also hold or be working towards an HNC Social Care and SVQ Level 3, and have a full driving license.

Benefits of this role include a competitive salary of £35,000 - £40,000 per annum, plus a sleepover allowance of £58.50 per night as required. Please note that this position requires a Christian faith and the ability to work within and uphold our Christian Ethos.

Requirements
  • Registration with the Scottish Social Services Council (SSSC)
  • HNC Social Care and SVQ Level 3 (or working towards)
  • Desirable qualifications: Dyadic Developmental Psychotherapy (DDP) Level 1
  • Experience in care or education
  • Strong communication, planning, and reporting abilities
  • Full driving license
