About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Science Tutor to join our team at Fleet Education Services. As a Science Tutor, you will be responsible for providing high-quality tuition to learners who require additional support in Science subjects.

Your role will involve creating engaging lesson plans, delivering tuition that is designed to inspire and teach, and monitoring your learner's progress to provide constructive feedback and foster continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver tuition to learners who require additional support in Science subjects.
  • Create lesson plans that are designed to engage and inspire learners.
  • Monitor learner progress and provide constructive feedback.
  • Collaborate with learner guardians/teachers to ensure academic success.
  • Maintain accurate records of tutoring sessions and learner performance.
Requirements
  • Must hold a Bachelor's level degree or equivalent qualification in a Science subject.
  • Minimum 6 months UK teaching/tutoring experience.
  • Must live and be eligible to work in the UK.
  • Must be willing to undertake a full Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check and referencing process.
  • A commitment to safeguarding.
  • Experience supporting students with Special Educational Needs (SEN), Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) needs, and other complex needs.
