Job Title: Science Tutor

We are seeking a highly skilled and enthusiastic Science Tutor to join our team at Fleet Education Services.

About the Role:

  1. Deliver high-quality, one-to-one Science tuition to students in East Sussex, particularly in Eastbourne, Heathfield, Crowborough, Uckfield, and Hastings.
  2. Develop engaging lesson plans to cater to the diverse needs of students, including those with Special Educational Needs (SEN), Social, Emotional, and Mental Health (SEMH) needs, and Childhood trauma.
  3. Monitor student progress, provide constructive feedback, and maintain accurate records of tutoring sessions.
  4. Collaborate with guardians/teachers to ensure academic success and provide a positive learning outcome.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent qualification in a Science-related field.
  • Minimum 6 months UK teaching/tutoring experience.
  • UK residency and eligibility to work in the UK.
  • Commitment to safeguarding and willingness to undergo a Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check.
