Job Description:
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Social Housing Refurbishment Specialist to join our team in Kent. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in delivering accurate cost estimates, managing project budgets, and ensuring value for money for our social housing refurbishment projects.

Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement effective cost planning strategies for social housing refurbishment projects
  • Analyze project costs and identify opportunities for cost savings
  • Manage variations and claims efficiently
  • Prepare and submit high-quality interim and final accounts
  • Collaborate with clients, contractors, and other stakeholders to ensure successful project delivery

Requirements:
To be successful in this role, you will need a relevant degree or equivalent qualification in Quantity Surveying or a related field, as well as extensive experience in quantity surveying within the social housing sector, with a focus on refurbishment projects. Strong knowledge of construction contracts (e.g., JCT, NEC) and proficiency in construction software (e.g., Excel, CostX, Asite) are essential. You should also possess excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, as well as strong communication and interpersonal skills. The salary for this position is £58,000 - £68,000 per annum, depending on experience.
