Accountancy Lead Role
This position has been created within the Finance team as part of plans to in-house a previously external process.
The successful candidate will be responsible for the development and improvement of management, control, and reporting within the finance department.
This includes completing annual accounts and external returns, as well as maintaining internal controls, policies, and procedures.
The role also involves treasury management, fixed asset accounting, and financial management, as well as Risk and Compliance strategies.

Key Requirements

  • Previous experience in Public Sector Financial management and accounting
  • Hold an ACCA or equivalent qualification (Finalists will be considered)
  • Experience of year-end procedures working to strict guidelines for internal and external audits
  • Experience of monitoring capital expenditure
  • Good knowledge of Financial Service regulations and ensuring compliance
  • Experience of managing the Fixed Asset Register
  • Experience Managing Risk strategies
