Key responsibilities include:

  • Managing and overseeing the financial operations of the organization.
  • Leading and managing the finance team, providing guidance and support.
  • Ensuring accuracy, completeness, and timeliness of financial reporting.
  • Monitoring financial performance and providing strategic recommendations to senior management.
  • Developing and managing the annual budgeting process.
  • Preparing financial forecasts based on trends and organizational needs.
  • Ensuring compliance with relevant financial regulations and reporting requirements.
  • Collaborating with auditors to facilitate annual audits.
  • Implementing and monitoring internal controls.
  • Ensuring effective, accurate, and timely communication throughout the organization, both internally and externally, where required.

To succeed in this role, you'll need:

  • Ideal qualifications include ACCA/CIMA/ACA or equivalent by experience.
  • Experience in a similar team leading position.
  • Proficiency in financial and management accounting, with the ability to craft budgets with precision and accuracy.
  • Experience in successfully running an annual audit.
  • Inquisitive and able to work closely with senior managers and team members.
