Job Title: Guest Service Assistant

We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused Guest Service Assistant to join our team at Holiday Inn Express Shrewsbury. As a key member of our front office team, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional guest experiences and ensuring that every guest feels welcome and valued.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide exceptional customer service to guests, responding to their needs and resolving any issues in a timely and professional manner.
  • Process guest arrivals and departures, handling check-ins, check-outs, and room assignments.
  • Manage guest requests and complaints, escalating issues to management as necessary.
  • Maintain accurate records and reports, including guest information and hotel operations data.
  • Collaborate with other hotel departments to ensure seamless guest experiences and efficient hotel operations.
Requirements:
  • Previous experience in a customer-facing role, preferably in a hotel or hospitality environment.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with guests, colleagues, and management.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing tasks and managing multiple responsibilities.
  • Basic computer skills and knowledge of hotel operations software.
