Job Summary:

Morson Talent is currently seeking a qualified EC&I Shift Technician to join our team. As an EC&I Shift Technician, you will be responsible for installing, commissioning, and maintaining electrical systems in accordance with company procedures and industry standards.

About the Job:

The successful candidate will have a strong background in electrical installation and maintenance, with experience in working on complex projects. You will be required to work closely with the project team to ensure that all tasks are completed to the highest standard.

Responsibilities:

  • Undertake installation, commissioning, and maintenance activities in accordance with your training, best practice, and trade/legal standards.
  • Participate in the planning and preparation of works including production of RAMS.
  • Carry out work in accordance with the work packs and best practice and applicable trade/legal standards.
  • Comply with any health and safety requirements of the work pack or work area.
  • Carry out safety and behavioural observation.
  • Comply with quality requirements of the work pack.
  • Not proceed past a hold point.
  • Report any defects, damage, safety hazards or other problems to your line manager.
  • Any other task/duties, commensurate with your competency, as directed by your Line Manager.

Requirements:

To be considered for this role, you must have:

  • A Level 3 qualification in an appropriate trade.
  • ECS Card relevant to qualifications and role - Mandatory for access to site.
  • BS 7671 Requirements for Electrical Installations (latest edition).

What We Offer:

In return for your skills and experience, we offer a competitive salary of £45,000-£60,000 per annum, depending on experience, plus a range of benefits including a contributory pension scheme and opportunities for career development.
