We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced print technician to join our team at Loughborough University.

The successful candidate will have excellent knowledge of textiles/fine art screen printing processes, dyes and pigments, and be able to prepare and deliver workshops as part of a small technical team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Coordinate technical operations across Textiles and Fine Art Print, ensuring effective learning environments for students.
  • Implement and enforce Health and Safety regulations within teaching facilities, ensuring staff, students, and equipment operate safely.
  • Oversee procurement and maintenance of teaching equipment, maintaining School guidelines and budget constraints.
  • Communicate complex technical information clearly to diverse audiences, fostering collaborative work environments.
  • Line manage and/or supervise technical staff, contributing to curriculum design and enhancement of technical activities.
