We are seeking a Youth Empowerment Advocate to support young people who have left care in making a successful transition to adulthood. As a Youth Empowerment Advocate, you will work closely with care leavers who face multiple and complex challenges, including social exclusion, poor educational attainment, vulnerability to exploitation, and unstable family relationships.

Your role will involve facilitating and chairing Personal Educational Plans for statutory school-age young people, empowering them to make informed decisions about their education and career paths. You will also motivate and engage young people in developing and implementing pathway plans, helping them to capitalize on available services and opportunities.

Effective collaboration with statutory and voluntary sector agencies and professionals is crucial to ensure effective coordination and provision of services to young people. You will advocate on their behalf and liaise with other organizations regarding their needs. Additionally, you will identify and mitigate potential risks to young people's safety and well-being, communicating with social workers and managers as necessary.

A competitive salary of £36,000 - £43,000 per annum awaits the right candidate, depending on experience. Our organization offers a supportive and dynamic work environment, providing opportunities for professional growth and development.
