Job Summary
We are currently seeking a highly motivated and experienced High Needs Coordinator to join our team. This is an exciting opportunity for a professional to take on a challenging role that requires a high level of organisation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
Key Responsibilities
- To coordinate the provision of support services for students with high needs, ensuring that their individual requirements are met and their educational outcomes are maximised.
- To work closely with teachers, teaching assistants, and other support staff to develop and implement effective strategies for supporting students with high needs.
- To maintain accurate records and reports on student progress, identifying areas of concern and developing plans to address them.
- To communicate effectively with parents, carers, and external agencies to ensure that students receive the support they need.
- To contribute to the development and implementation of policies and procedures related to high needs support.
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A good understanding of the needs of students with high needs and the importance of providing tailored support to meet these needs.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships with colleagues, students, and parents.
- Strong organisational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritise tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- A flexible approach to working, with the ability to adapt to changing circumstances and priorities.
- A commitment to ongoing professional development, with a desire to learn and improve your practice.
Salary and Benefits
The salary for this role is £28,122 - £30,832 per annum, depending on experience. We also offer a range of benefits, including access to ongoing professional development opportunities, a comprehensive pension scheme, and a generous annual leave entitlement.
Location
This role will be based at our Cross Campus location, although you may be required to work at other locations from time to time.
Contractual Requirements
