Job Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced and compassionate Care Professional to join our team at Home Instead. As a Care Professional, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care and support to our clients in their own homes.

About the Role

As a Care Professional, you will be responsible for:

  • Providing personal care and support to clients, including assistance with daily living tasks such as bathing, dressing, and medication management.
  • Preparing simple meals and light household duties to promote independence and well-being.
  • Accompanying clients to appointments, shopping, and other activities to promote social interaction and community engagement.
  • Providing companionship and emotional support to clients, including listening to their concerns and interests.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A minimum of 1 year of experience in care work, preferably in a home care setting.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with clients and their families.
  • A compassionate and empathetic approach to care, with a commitment to promoting the dignity and well-being of clients.
  • The ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a flexible approach to scheduling and workload.
