We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate individual to join our team as a Pastoral Assistant at a specialist school in Camberwell, Southwark. As a Pastoral Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting the emotional and behavioural needs of young girls with SEMH and SEN.
The ideal candidate will have experience working with vulnerable children and be able to adapt to a fast-paced environment. You will work closely with teachers, teaching assistants, and other support staff to provide a nurturing and supportive atmosphere for students.

Main Responsibilities:
• To work with and supervise individuals and groups of pupils with pastoral, emotional and behavioural difficulties.
• To supervise and develop good social skills with pupils and deal with conflict issues around the school.
• To support class teachers and teaching assistants with the creation and implementation of plans and strategies for the development and education of pupils.
The salary for this role is £27,500 - £29,000 per annum, depending on experience.
