Geo Environmental Engineer Graduate Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and ambitious Graduate Geo Environmental Engineer to join our team at JP Engineering. As a Graduate Geo Environmental Engineer, you will play a key role in assisting our experienced engineers with various projects, including report writing, environmental monitoring, and site investigation works.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist with report writing for Geo Environmental Projects, ensuring high-quality deliverables that meet client expectations.
  • Conduct environmental monitoring for ground gases, groundwater, dust, and noise, adhering to industry standards and regulations.
  • Develop and write Phase 1 Desk Studies, Coal Mining Risk Assessments, and Remediation Strategies, utilizing your knowledge of geotechnical and chemical testing.
  • Supervise site investigation works, including logging of soils/rocks in accordance with BS5930 and Eurocode, and scheduling geotechnical and chemical testing on soils.
  • Utilize Holebase to produce borehole, trial pits logs, and cross sections, ensuring accurate and detailed documentation.
