Job Description

**Job Title:** Graduate Geo Environmental Engineer - Bath

**Company Type:** Medium-sized consultancy offering a wide range of services to various sectors, including land, energy, retail, housing, commercial, and property.

**Job Summary:** We are seeking a Graduate Geo Environmental Engineer to join our team at JP Engineering. The successful candidate will have 12-18 months of experience and will be responsible for assisting with report writing, environmental monitoring, and other tasks related to geo-environmental projects.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist with report writing for geo-environmental projects, including the preparation of Phase 1 Desk Studies and Coal Mining Risk Assessments.
  • Conduct environmental monitoring for ground gases, groundwater, dust, and noise.
  • Develop remediation strategies and supervise site investigation works, including logging of soils/rocks in accordance with BS5930 and Eurocode.
  • Schedule geotechnical and chemical testing on soils and communicate with laboratories.
  • Use Holebase to produce borehole, trial pits logs, and cross sections.
