Job Description

We are seeking a highly motivated Teaching Assistant to join our team at a SEN school in Lambeth, supporting our Post 16 pupils with complex SEN needs.

  • This is a fantastic opportunity to work in a dynamic classroom environment, promoting pupil independence, self-esteem, and social inclusion.
  • You will work closely with skilled teachers and SEN professionals to enhance student learning and attainment, providing individual or group support to enable students to access the curriculum and participate in learning activities.
About the Job

The ideal candidate will have experience working with students with complex SEN needs, providing one-on-one support to help them develop literacy, mathematics, and life skills.

  • Responsibilities will include assisting with lesson planning, preparation, and resourcing, as well as facilitating inclusion by encouraging participation of all pupils in learning and extracurricular activities.
  • You will also promote pupil independence, self-esteem, and social inclusion by providing individual or group support to enable students to access the curriculum and participate in learning activities.
