About the Opportunity
Are you an ambitious and up-and-coming financial professional seeking to enhance your skillset in a collaborative environment? SF Recruitment Ltd is currently looking for a Finance Manager to join our dynamic team. This role presents a unique opportunity to work closely with one of the best finance directors in the area, where you will be responsible for leading a small but growing finance team. As the right-hand person to the finance director, you will undertake both hands-on and strategic roles within the business.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide business partnering support to internal stakeholders
  • Lead a talented finance team, conducting performance reviews, regular 121s and appraisals, as well as ongoing coaching, training and guidance
  • Systems, reporting and analysis ownership, preparing and presenting reports to senior management including analytical reports on business performance and behaviours
  • Monthly balance sheet reconciliations, income and costs paid in advance reconciliation
  • Ensure monthly timetables are adhered to, and all reconciliations are recorded accurately
  • Production of Monthly Management Accounts, reporting pack, and variance analysis
  • Management of cash flow and FX requirements, reporting monthly cash flow to group
  • Prepare and submit quarterly VAT returns
  • Work closely with the Finance Director on forecasting and budgeting
  • Develop and maintain financial processes and controls
  • Support with IFRS reporting, particularly IFRS16 analysis

About You
The ideal candidate will have experience in management accounting and business partnering, alongside strong people management skills. A qualification in accountancy (ACA/ACCA/CIMA) or comparable experience is desirable. Proficiency in Excel and experience with Salesforce or Sage Intact are advantageous. Additionally, you will have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work closely with a talented and supportive team.
