Civil Engineering Project Technician

Estimated Salary: £30,000 - £40,000 per annum

Tarmac Trading Limited is seeking a skilled Civil Engineering Project Technician to join our team in Bangor, Gwynedd. As a permanent member of staff, you will be responsible for the construction, installation, and maintenance of highway apparatus and assets.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Construction and maintenance of highway infrastructure
  • Repairing potholes, cracks, and surfacing
  • Excavating and reinstating trenches for duct and drainage installation

Requirements include:

  • Previous experience in civil engineering works, operating machinery, and working on the highway
  • Understanding of utility drawings and dangers of damaging underground and overhead services
  • HGV Class 2 driver experience and NPORS or City and Guilds qualifications in gritter and snowplough
