Automation Specialist

We are seeking a skilled Automation Specialist with expertise in Microsoft Power Platform, particularly Power Automate and Power Apps, to join our dynamic team at Lifeplus. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in JavaScript, enabling them to design, develop, and implement automated solutions that streamline business processes and enhance operational efficiency.
Key Responsibilities
Design, build, and customise Power Apps to meet business requirements and improve user experience.
Utilise JavaScript to enhance the functionality and customisation of Power Platform solutions.
Integration and Deployment:
Integrate Power Platform solutions with other Microsoft services like SharePoint, Teams, and Dynamics 365.
Work with APIs and data connectors to integrate third-party applications and services into Power Platform solutions.
Monitor and maintain existing automation solutions to ensure their ongoing performance and reliability.
Collaborate with business analysts, project managers, continuous improvement specialists and other stakeholders to gather requirements and provide technical insights.
Stay updated with the latest features and updates in the Microsoft Power Platform and JavaScript.
Propose and implement enhancements to existing solutions based on user feedback and technological advancements.
Participate in code reviews and contribute to the team's best practices in automation.
Requirements
Proven experience working with Microsoft Power Platform, specifically Power Automate and Power Apps.
Strong experience with JavaScript, including experience with libraries and frameworks relevant to Power Platform development.
Experience integrating Power Platform with other Microsoft services (e.g., SharePoint, Teams, Dynamics 365) and third-party applications.
Expertise in building Power Apps (canvas and model-driven apps) with customisations using JavaScript.
Familiarity with Power BI for data visualisation (optional).
Knowledge of REST APIs, JSON, and data integration techniques.
Understanding of data security, governance, and compliance within the Power Platform ecosystem.
Strong attention to detail and commitment to delivering high-quality solutions.
