About the Role

As a Social Worker in our Adult Social Care team, you will play a vital role in supporting adults and their families who have complex social needs and are more vulnerable as a result of disability, exclusion, or diminished capacity.

You will work to maximise their potential to live independently, and your expertise will be invaluable in helping us deliver high-quality services to our community.

About You

To be successful in this role, you will need to be a qualified social worker with a current Social Work England registration, and have at least 1 year's social work experience.

You will also need to have evidence of continuing professional development, and the capability of practice in accordance with current professional standards.

As a subject matter expert in relevant professional practice, you will have a comprehensive understanding of current legislation, regulations, and guidance.

You will be able to develop strong relationships with partner agencies and the local community to provide a supportive framework for vulnerable adults.

Requirements
  • Qualification in Social Work
  • Current Social Work England registration
  • At least 1 year's social work experience
  • Evidence of continuing professional development
  • Capability of practice in accordance with current professional standards

Please note that this role involves travelling around Essex, and a driving licence and car - or the ability to meet the mobility requirements of the role through other means - is essential.
