About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and enthusiastic Catering Assistant to join our team at Lexington Catering in Ipswich, Suffolk. As a Catering Assistant, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our kitchen and service areas, providing exceptional customer service, and maintaining high standards of food safety and hygiene.

Key Responsibilities
  • Ensure the kitchen and service areas are always clean, well-presented, and well-stocked
  • Keep up to date with menus and what food is on offer
  • Offer a warm and friendly service to customers
  • Ensure COSHH, Food Safety, and Health & Safety are followed
  • Deliver food via car/van on occasion to another site
Working Pattern

35 hours, Monday to Friday

Requirements
  • Focused on the front line
  • Genuine interest in customer service excellence
  • Team player
  • Catering and Barista experience desirable but not essential
  • Driving License
