Catering Assistant Job Description

We are seeking a skilled and enthusiastic Catering Assistant to join our team at Lexington Catering. As a Catering Assistant, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our kitchen and service areas.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Maintain a clean and well-presented kitchen and service area, adhering to high standards of hygiene and safety.
  • Stay up-to-date with menu offerings and ensure that all food is prepared and presented to a high standard.
  • Provide exceptional customer service, ensuring that all customers receive a warm and friendly welcome.
  • Ensure that all COSHH, Food Safety, and Health & Safety procedures are followed at all times.
  • Deliver food to other sites as required, using a company vehicle.
Working Pattern:

35 hours per week, Monday to Friday.

Requirements:
  • Previous experience in a catering or hospitality environment is desirable but not essential.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
  • A genuine interest in providing exceptional customer service.
  • A valid driving license.
