Key Responsibilities
  • Board Administration: Lead monthly board meetings, biweekly executive board meetings, and other committee meetings as scheduled
  • Monthly and Annual Financial Oversight: Review and manage the organization's finances, including budgeting and financial reporting
  • Committee Creation and Management: Establish and manage committees to support the organization's goals and objectives
Office Administration
  • Insurance and Policy Management: Ensure the organization's insurance and director and officer policies are up to date
  • Address and Payment Management: Verify and update the organization's addresses, credit cards, and auto-payments
  • Mail and Document Management: Collect and properly document mail, including checks in the Neon CRM system and deposit
  • Office Maintenance: Maintain the office space as needed
Staff Management
  • Work Plan Creation: Collaborate with staff to create monthly work plans
  • Weekly Meetings: Conduct weekly meetings with staff to discuss progress and address concerns
  • Remote Availability: Remain available remotely to address staff concerns and issues
  • Street Sweeping Team Management: Manage the day-to-day needs of the street sweeping team
Development
  • Grant Research: Identify and research potential grant opportunities
  • Grant Management: Apply for and manage recurring grants, including reporting and oversight
  • Capital Campaigns and Fundraising: Develop and implement capital campaigns and other fundraising initiatives
Events and Fundraising
  • Event Planning: Oversee and assist with general event management plans
  • Event Leadership: Lead the organization's event planning efforts
  • Sponsorship Goals: Work with the board and staff to achieve sponsorship goals
  • Contract Management: Sign all contracts and approve spending
  • Logistics and Marketing Planning: Approve logistics and marketing plans developed by managers
  • Fundraising Opportunities: Identify and pursue other fundraising opportunities
  • Girard Avenue Business Resource Center: Develop and implement plans for the Girard Avenue Business Resource Center
  • Neighborhood Development: Work with partner organizations on neighborhood development and blight remediation
Survey Management and Analysis
  • Survey Creation: Develop surveys to gather neighborhood input
  • Survey Evaluation: Evaluate and report on survey results
  • Analytics: Monitor and report on analytics as requested
