About the Role

We are seeking an exceptional KS2 Teacher to join our vibrant one-form entry primary school in Barnet. As a passionate educator, you will lead a wonderful Year 4 class and be responsible for delivering a dynamic curriculum in core subjects such as reading, writing, and numeracy.

In this role, you will work with a supportive team, including a Teaching Assistant, to help students achieve their full potential while fostering our school's core values of kindness, effort, aspiration, and tenacity.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Plan and deliver engaging and creative lessons in line with the national curriculum.
  2. Manage classroom behaviour effectively, especially with pupils who may be disruptive.
  3. Implement positive behaviour strategies and reward systems to encourage good behaviour and engagement.
  4. Monitor pupil progress, providing support where necessary, particularly for those who may struggle to focus.
  5. Build positive relationships with students, ensuring they feel supported and encouraged in their learning.
  6. Ensure a safe and structured learning environment, fostering a positive attitude toward schoolwork.

Salary Range: £28,000 - £42,000 per annum, depending on experience.
