About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity to join our Waste Services Team as a Recycling Specialist. The successful candidate will work closely with collection crews, gathering data to monitor performance and ensure compliance with national objectives and targets.

You will play a key role in supporting the monitoring and expansion of all existing schemes and facilities, including the Council's Household Waste Recycling Centres. This will involve carrying out waste compositions on all service users as required, improving the Council's waste minimisation and developing services as necessary.

You will be responsible for analysing data and providing performance level reports to support the management team. Promote the recycling and waste minimisation services throughout the Local Authority area and advise and assist residents, schools, and businesses on how to recycle and minimise waste.

The estimated salary for this position is £28,000 - £35,000 per annum, depending on experience.
