Mobile Field Service Engineer Role

We are seeking an experienced Multi Skilled Maintenance Engineer to join our Mobile Field Service Team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing shift cover and responding to breakdowns at multiple sites across the West and East Midlands, the North West, and at times further afield.

Your primary focus will be on carrying out preventative maintenance on material handling equipment, including conveyors, packaging machinery, sortation machinery, and robotics. You will also be involved in installations and projects, primarily at Distribution Centres.

To succeed in this role, you will need to be a strong communicator and able to integrate with resident teams at our clients' sites, ensuring that you represent Imperium Automation in a professional manner at all times.

We offer 24/7/365 reactive maintenance support to our clients, and you will need to be flexible to meet their expectations.

Essential Knowledge, Skills, and Experience
  • NVQ Level 3 or Apprentice Trained Electrical/Multi Skilled
  • Good understanding of PLCs
  • Experience of working in Automated Distribution Centres
  • Sound awareness of risk assessment, method statements, permits, and working safely
  • Strong problem-solving skills
  • Experience with liaising with customers in a professional manner
  • IPAF trained and confident working at height, confined spaces
