**About the Role:**

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Finance and Operations Coordinator to join our team at BAE Systems in Rochester, Kent. As a key member of our finance team, you will be responsible for providing support to our financial controllers and ensuring the accuracy of our financial forecasts and budgets.

**Key Responsibilities:**

  • Assist in the preparation of financial forecasts and budgets, including inventory financial forecasts and quarterly business reviews.
  • Provide support to budget holders to help deliver on their financial commitments by tracking performance and providing insightful commentary to facilitate decision-making.
  • Develop and maintain a solid understanding of the business risks and opportunities.

**Requirements:**

  • Prior accounting experience, including reconciliations, forecasting, and budgets.
  • Experience of working to tight timescales and consistently meeting deadlines.
  • Good attention to detail and ability to swiftly analyse numerical data.
  • Strong Excel skills, Power BI knowledge.

**Salary:** Circa £35,000 depending on skills and experience.
