Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Fire Engineer to join our dynamic team at Intelligent Security and Fire Ltd. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in fire safety systems, including design, installation, and maintenance of fire protection systems. This role requires a deep understanding of schematics, system design, and mechanical knowledge to ensure compliance with safety regulations and standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Design and develop fire protection systems that meet relevant codes and standards.
  2. Create and interpret schematics for fire alarm systems, CCTV, and other related technologies.
  3. Conduct thorough inspections of existing fire safety systems to identify areas for improvement or necessary upgrades.
  4. Collaborate with project teams to integrate fire safety measures into overall system designs.
  5. Utilise power tools and computer hardware for the installation and maintenance of fire protection equipment.
  6. Provide technical support and guidance during the installation process, ensuring all systems are built to specification.
  7. Telecommunicate with clients and stakeholders to discuss project requirements and updates.
  8. Stay informed about advancements in fire safety technology and regulations to ensure best practices are followed.

Requirements:

  1. Proven experience in fire engineering or a related field is essential.
  2. Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to work with various tools and equipment.
  3. Familiarity with Integrated Detection Systems (IDS) is advantageous.
  4. Experience in computer networking will be beneficial for system integration tasks.
  5. Previous exposure to CCTV systems is desirable but not mandatory.
  6. A commitment to continuous learning and professional development in the field of fire safety engineering is expected.
